Such fun experiencing Tuscany this way! The accommodations were first class, the setting spectacular, and the food: so delicious. Yoga, pilates and Tai Chi were perfect ways to start each day. The retreat was well organized, yet relaxed. We had plenty of free time to explore the beautiful surrounding areas. One afternoon KC took us all to an amazing natural spa that I never would have found on my own. Thank you KC and Sauro for a memorable week!Carol F.
When KC suggested I join her on a Tai Chi retreat in Barcelona I thought, Probably not. I’d never done Tai Chi before – and the people I knew who did Tai Chi were suspiciously contented. But I do love Barcelona. And I trust KC. So I said yes. And I discovered Tai Chi is a lot more fun (and challenging) than I’d realized, and the people KC invites on her retreats are a blast. I should add, not having to make any decisions for a week about (awesome, healthy) food or (a nicely scheduled mix of social and personal) time was a retreat on its own!James B.
My husband and I have gone on two Tai Chi retreats with River Pilates – one in Spain and one in Sicily. In Spain, we looked out at the Mediterranean as we did our Tai Chi. In Sicily, our farm was in the middle of olive and orange groves. KC’s eye for beauty is matched with her ability to make every well planned moment seem effortless. Sauro, our Tai Chi master, was wonderful both as a teacher and to be with on lovely afternoons exploring the countryside. I have never felt so calm and rested after a trip as I have after these trips and I truly wish I could go on every one of River Pilates adventures.Joyce K.
